Orientation
First-Year International Orientation dates are August 13-15, 2026.
All international students that will be attending WashU on a F-1 or J-1 visa are required to attend first-year international orientation. Students who have U.S. citizenship but have lived abroad are able to attend but it is not mandatory.

Move-in
First-year International Move-In Day date is August 13, 2026.
Airport shuttles will be available.
Anyone who will not be able to arrive within the move in time is encouraged to seek alternate accommodations for the night and check in the next day for Orientation programs with the Office for International Student Engagement.

Join us as representatives from Bank of America will be on campus to connect with students and answer your questions about banking in the U.S. Whether you’re opening your first U.S. bank account, looking to build credit, or just want to understand how to manage your money as a student, this is a great opportunity to get personalized advice. Stop by their table on any of the scheduled days to learn more about their student-friendly services, credit card options, and how to avoid common banking fees. Appointments are not necessary, bring your I-20 or DS-2019 and I-94 to open a bank account.
