Kalpana Bodavula serves as a program coordinator in the Office for International Student Engagement. Kalpana is an alumna of Washington University and is delighted to be back on campus working to enhance the student experience.
Kalpana holds a BA in English and a Masters from Rutgers University in Comparative Literature, she enjoys using her knowledge of foreign languages and cultures to bridge communities and explore shared experiences.
In her free time, Kalpana enjoys studying early modern literature, writing poetry, playing the cello, and charcoal drawing. She resides in Saint Louis with her husband, two teenagers, and yellow Labrador retriever Sunny, and absolutely loves a good pun.
