Every international student and scholar must file a US tax return, regardless of whether or not they receive income. Federal tax returns are filed with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Missouri state tax returns are filed with the Missouri Department of Revenue.

Taxes are filed by mid-April of the current calendar year for the previous calendar year

For the 2023 tax year (January 1, 2024-December 31, 2024), taxes must be filed by Tuesday, April 15, 2025
